Andrew Kirk talked about his book Doom Towns: The People and Landscape of Atomic Testing, in which he tells the history of atomic testing carried out by the U.S. government in the Nevada desert in graphic novel format. Mr. Kirk used oral histories, classified documents, and photographs to research the history of atomic testing. He spoke about his research and displayed art from the book drawn by Kristian Purcell. Andy Kirk talks about the book and exhibition. 18mins 40 secs
